Types of headache

Most of us have ever had a headache. There are many different types of it, each of which has different causes of occurrence. Despite this diversity, most types of headaches can be treated with OTC drugs.

VARIOUS TYPES OF HEADACHE AND THE CAUSES OF THEIR INITIATION
With the headache of stress, we come across most often, and most of us call this pain “normal.” The reasons for it may vary, but they often come down to stress or to an incorrect position of the body. Pain appears because of tension in the muscles of the neck, head and back. When the muscles are clamped, prostaglandins are produced in the body, irritating the painful nerve endings. As a result of this interaction, we experience a headache.

Migraines can appear due to more serious anxiety, rather than a tension headache. It can also sometimes be accompanied by special symptoms, such as increased sensitivity to light and noise, nausea, or vomiting. The exact mechanism of the appearance of migraine is unknown, but the concomitant factors may be the development of certain chemicals in the body or changes in the work of cerebral vessels.

There is another kind of pain – cluster (or bundle) headache, which occurs with a certain periodicity. Attacks appear wavy, then stop, then resume again. One attack can last several days, weeks or even months. The emergence of cluster pain is associated with the work of the hypothalamus, a part of the brain that serves as a link between the nervous system and the overall functioning of the body.

Abuzusnaya headache is caused by abuse of painkillers. A similar pain occurs when the body gets used to tablets; if a person who has been taking such drugs for a long time does not drink their day or two in the same amount as before, the body begins to experience discomfort.

Certain types of pain, which most often affect women, are caused by hormonal changes. These include, in particular, a recurring headache. The occurrence of such pain is associated with a drop in the body’s level of the hormone estrogen. The causes of such pain can be the use of contraceptives, menopause or pregnancy.

Sinus headache occurs with inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (sinuses). With a cold, the infection can cause sinus inflammation, blockage of the cavity between the sinuses and the nose, thereby contributing to increased blood pressure. Pain in the nose and headache can be the result of a development and a more serious infection.

There are other causes of pain. These include excessive drinking, colds, flu. Also, the causes of sinus headache can be a head injury, concussion or carbon monoxide poisoning.

HOW TO GET RID OF THE HEADACHE
From the symptoms of migraine, including periodic headaches in women, you can get rid of drugs that you can buy in a pharmacy without a prescription. However, if you do not see any improvement after use, it is strongly recommended that you consult your doctor to advise you on other treatments.

With sinus headache, the contents of your sinuses can become inflamed due to infection or because of the allergen exposure. In this case, painkillers are prescribed along with antibiotics to treat infections or antihistamines to combat allergy symptoms.

Although the causes of pain can be very many, the most common types of pain (for example, tension headache or sinus pain) can be cured with OTC drugs.

REMOVAL OF SYMPTOMS OF HEADACHE VOLTAGE WITH NUROPHENE
Nurofen is one of the pain relievers that can be bought without a doctor’s prescription. In its composition as an active ingredient is ibuprofen. Scientifically proven that ibuprofen blocks the production of prostaglandins, which, irritating the painful nerve endings, cause a tension headache.

In order to find the right treatment for the headache, we recommend that you seek help from your doctor. If you experience pain due to trauma, the pain continues to increase, your vision is disturbed, the heat is burning, you are sick or you have speech problems, contact your doctor as soon as possible.
